Volunteer Information

The following volunteer opportunities are available on event day (shift times are subject to change). Every effort will be made to honor your preferred volunteer role, however assignments will be made based on our needs for the day.

Rider Registration

Shift times: 7:00 am – 9:00 am and 10:00 am – 11:30 am

Assist with rider check-in before the staggered start times of the 10 mile, 22 mile, 62 mile, and 100 mile ride. At check-in, each rider will receive a rider envelope, goodie bag, rider t-shirt.

Event Setup

Shift times: 6:00 am – 9:00 am

Assist with setting up registration center, starting line, signage, and other pre-event preparations.

Hospitality Tent

Shift times: 6:30 am – 11:30 am / 11:30 am – 4:00 pm

Serve beverages and light snacks, serve as lost & found, provide event day information

Feed Stations

Set up one of the feed stations and assist riders along the route by handing out water and snacks. Cheer – the louder the better! Riders need your support along the route!

Breese Hollow Road (NY) – Shift time: 8:30 am – 10:30 am

King Road S. of Cambridge – Shift time: 9:30 am – 11:30 pm

North end of Lake Cossayuna – Shift time: 10:30 am – 12:30 pm

Rest Stop on NY 313 just north of Hickory Hill Road – Shift time: 11:30 am – 1:30 pm

Route Patrol

Motorcycle Patrol, Car Patrol, Stationed position along route

Assist riders along the route as needed (dispatch first aid team and bike mechanics, encourage riders, etc.)

First Aid/Medical Team – Calling all RNs & medical personnel!

Basic first aid is offered at feed stations along the route. Shift time: see Feed Station shifts above.

Family Fun

Shift time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm / 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm

The Family Fun Center has a range of activities for the kids, including a bounce house, face painting and other games.
